I just recently got digital, so most of my work is on film. This particular image is shot with Kodak infrared film, which they no longer make. There really is no other film like it. I have tried the efke films and Rolie as well. I will probably have to buy a second digital body and modify it for digital.
Thats funny you mentioned about Kodak, I was thinking about also learning to shoot in medium and large format someday along with digital, and from my understanding, Kodak is actually discontinuing alot of their films, which really sucks! I wanted to look into large format instant film, and well, now i am kinda screwed in that department. You mentioned about getting a digital camera body to convert to IR, you know they have websites where they do it for you right! That way you dont have to deal with the nonsense and better yet, if something goes wrong, its on their shoulders!!! Your work, you know I love all your work, but do you think you might do some more landscape and building shots? I was sending my friends links to your stuff and bragging about how great your work is! Anyhow, Best of wishes to you my friend!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
