That is exactly the pose one would be able to find Lolita in, going through one of her beloved magazines!
The childishness and naive, yet sexual pose = brilliant.
The red colour being repeated (hair, lips, fence, cherries, bench) and the shoes matching the shoes on the cover = also brilliant.
Great stuff. Smutty and alluring but with a sort of flippant tongue-in-cheek quality ( I think Lolita was a perfect choice ) that elevates it above the standard erotic poses that are common in DA. Lotsa cherries and lipstick red, too. What a nice pic to discover on valentines day. Keep up the good work!
I like the color version much more than the black and white. Oh the red rail and the red hair kinda clash, but her skin is just so much nicer in color, I think. And those red eyebrows looking and the black and white book, great composition.
she is disturbingly beautiful. her pale skin and the long neck -detatchment of her head from the rest of the body-, contrast with her showing, plus the defying attitude of her showing it in public. The book is unnecessary, her Egon Schiele pose (red hair reminds you of him? or the pose? the whole thing, i guess) is quite enough. Maybe Lewis Carroll instead of Nabokov?
Anyways, its a beautiful reconstructure of Schiele.
